OLDI (ON-Line Data Interchange).

Two significant steps were taken in 2003 which mean that we consider that this was the year when the LISATM (Lisbon Air Traffic Management System) came of age.
 
Totally specified, developed and tested by NAV Portugal (Engineers and air traffic controllers), the OLDI complies with EUROCONTROL standards but take into account the specific nature of the area under Portugal’s responsibility.

This LISATM tool permits an answer to the increased traffic, without delays and with a superior performance and safety levels, by transmitting, in a dynamic way, all the relevant data through the adjacent FIR’s.

The OLDI began its operation in November, 10th 2003.
